So, it's been a LONG time since I've written a blog entry and I thought tonight I'm in the perfect mood for one! I've been having issues with motivation, and I feel like I've been falling off the wagon here and there and it's disappointing! It's time to try once again to get things back on track! I may fall off here and there, but as long as I keep getting back up and trying again then it's alright sometimes. So tonight I'm making some new promises to myself! I'm going to not only get things back on track I'm going to step things up a notch! I really want this more than anything still and I still believe in myself. The goal was not to loose some weight and feel better. The point was to get into the best shape of my life!! I want the flat stomach and the toned muscles! So here are my promises to myself to start with NOW! I know they are going to look more like rules, but I hate that word, so I'm calling them promises. It's about me and doing this for me :)
1. No eating after 8pm! Snacking late is BAD!
2. Drink WAY more water!
3. Work out every morning! First thing after having some breakfast get your gym shoes on and work up a sweat!! No excuses! 4 min or an hour, whatever works! Plus add more cardio! CARDIO! CARDIO! CARDIO!
4. Run at least 2 times a week. It's good for your body AND your mind. Plus it's just more cardio!
5. Get back to doing some "floor routines" again. Sit ups! Crunches! Leg lifts! Can't forget about the abs and the buns! Every other day is okay.
6. Get out and walk with the family more! It's not just about me it's about the family being healthier as a whole!
7. Play outside more! It's perfect cardio and once again it's about the family.
8. No more pasta for dinner. It's fine for lunch or even breakfast, but NOT for dinner! It is also NOT a snack!
9. Up the diet for everyone. We need more fruits and vegtables in our diet! It's fall and so we need to try some new fall like items, and some new recipes!
10. Relax! Do things for yourself. Take time for yourself. Take naps! Meditate! Dance alone! Remember to love myself no matter what my body looks like and know that I do have this in me. I am strong enough to find the motivation and determination again!
