1 banana
1/2 cup of frozen sliced strawberries
1 teaspoon of all natural peanut butter
1 cup of Silk PureAlmond Milk
1 nice sized scoop of chocolate protein powder
1 Magic Bullet or blender
1/2 cup of frozen sliced strawberries
1 teaspoon of all natural peanut butter
1 cup of Silk PureAlmond Milk
1 nice sized scoop of chocolate protein powder
1 Magic Bullet or blender
- Add banana, strawberries, peanut butter, almond milk, and protein powder together in Magic Bullet or blender. (Any blender will work but in my opinion you might want one that is a bit more powerful than your average blender if you want that super smooth texture. My Magic Bullet works great for this, and it is the perfect size. I use my tops with the handles as you can see in this picture.)
- Enjoy! It's just THAT simple! I am a creature of habit and I have yet to branch out from this one recipe yet because I love it so much! Besides the fact that I will add fresh spinach to it and half a serving of the protein powder in the mornings.
- Right now I use ON 100% Whey protein powder in Double Rich Chocolate from GNC, and I like it a lot. I'm a bit concerned about the amount of soy it may have in it as I'm against GMO's and I believe a lot of the soy in America is most likely genetically modified right now. With that being said I think finding a reasonably priced protein powder without at least a little bit of soy lecithin in it may be near impossible. I defiantly want to try other protein powders out, and different flavors too! I have seen a cake batter one and a mint chocolate one that I'd like to purchase and use. I've even seen a lot of people baking and cooking with protein powder and I'd love to try that out as well. The more recipes I find and like I will make sure to add on here for everyone to enjoy!
